About the Role:
To lead the design, development, and management of innovative and competitive SME product offerings that drive business growth, improve customer experience, and align with risk and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and continuously refine a portfolio of SME banking products, including loans, working capital, trade, and cash solutions, with a focus on digital enablement and customer-centric design.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and opportunities for digital innovation and competitive differentiation.
Lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch, incorporating digital journeys, automation, and ongoing enhancements.
Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure strong risk management and full regulatory alignment.
Ensure all products comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Design pricing strategies and financial models to support product viability, profitability, and scalable digital growth.
Work closely with IT and Digital teams to drive product digitalization, system integration, and process automation.
Partner with Distribution, Branches, and Relationship Managers to execute go-to-market strategies across physical and digital channels.
Provide training, tools, and digital platforms to enable sales teams for effective product positioning and delivery.
Monitor product performance, track KPIs (including digital adoption), and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Gather customer feedback and digital usage insights to enhance products, user experience, and processes.
Coordinate with Treasury, Operations, Technology, and Digital teams to ensure seamless, efficient, and digitally integrated product delivery.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications in banking, product management, or risk are preferred.
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in SME product development or commercial banking product roles.
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of SME banking products and services.
Market and competitive analysis capability.
Product pricing and financial modelling.
Cross-department collaboration and stakeholder influence.
Customer-centric product design mindset.
Data-driven decision making and KPI monitoring.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
