Pakistan Army Announces New Jobs for Soldiers & Junior Staff

The Pakistan Army has opened recruitment for several positions under its 2026 intake, providing eligible candidates with an opportunity to join the force in different roles.

Military Police	Matric	17.5 to 23 years
Clerk	Intermediate, C Grade	17.5 to 23 years
Cook	Middle	17.5 to 23 years
Sanitary Worker	Literate/Primary level	17.5 to 35 years

For Naib Khateeb, Dars-e-Nizami must be obtained from an HEC-certified religious institution. Arabic speaking, Qira’at, and Hifz may be additional qualifications. Candidates applying for Technical Soldier must have Matric with Science and at least a B grade.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must also meet the minimum height requirements specified for their respective positions.

Candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan may receive a two-inch height relaxation, subject to the applicable conditions.

Important Registration Dates

The Pakistan Army recruitment process will begin in September 2026. Candidates can register online for soldier posts or visit their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre or Regimental Centre.

Online registration is not compulsory for soldier posts. Candidates can also visit their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre or Regimental Centre. Naib Khateeb applicants need to obtain and submit the prescribed form through an Army recruitment centre.

Candidates claiming age, education, or height relaxation must provide the relevant supporting documents.
