President Asif Ali Zardari Confers Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on PACCC President Naveed Anwar Chaudhry

Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conferred the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz upon Naveed Anwar Chaudhry, President of the Pakistan American Chicago Land Chamber of Commerce (PACCC), in recognition of his outstanding efforts to promote Pakistani exports and strengthen trade relations.

The award was presented during a special ceremony held at the Presidency in Islamabad, on the recommendation of Shehbaz Sharif. The ceremony honoured various individuals with civil awards for their contributions in fields including health, education, literature, journalism, public service, research, diplomacy, sports, and the economy.

The event was attended by Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, along with federal ministers, the Chairman Senate, parliamentarians, diplomats, members of civil society, media representatives, and a large number of guests.

Naveed Anwar Chaudhry received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his role in enhancing business ties between Pakistan and the United States, promoting Pakistani exports, and contributing to community development initiatives. His efforts have played a significant role in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

Recently, Chaudhry also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to boost trade, investment, and business collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.

The Tamgha-i-Imtiaz is one of Pakistan’s highest civilian honours and is awarded to individuals for distinguished services in various fields, recognising excellence and contributions that bring national and international recognition to the country.
