Rafay Rashid Appointed as Finance Manager at Descon

Rafay Rashid has been appointed as Finance Manager at Descon, marking another significant milestone in his career in financial leadership. With more than a decade of experience across financial planning & analysis, management reporting, commercial finance, digital finance, SAP, and business process improvement, he brings extensive expertise to his new role.

Throughout his professional journey, Rafay has held finance leadership positions at Systems Limited, Dawn Foods, ICI Pakistan Limited, and AkzoNobel, where he contributed to FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, business intelligence, ERP transformation, and strategic decision-making across diverse industries.

Rafay holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brookes University, reflecting a strong academic foundation that complements his extensive corporate finance experience.
